Painting of the French contemporary painter and figurative jeremie Baldocchi
Painting: Little pleasure: To varnish the nails
  • Painting: Little pleasure: To varnish the nails

    Format: 160 x 120 cm
    Date of execution: December 2009

I wanted to do an image on the small pleasure that women usually To varnish the nails and especially those of the feet.
I found it interesting to transpose this while, at first glance trivial and simple a matter more complex is one of my favorite themes: the problem of identity and reference body.
The universe is one of the transvestites.
The costumes, colors, glitter and rhinestones, paradoxically combine to despair, melancholy and evil not to be physically what they are spiritually.

  • The fact of not having been born in the good body and not to the good name gives them the feeling that society, from the start, were misled, it is their turn now to deceive by hiding, camouflaging themselves, transforming everyday body that is not the end of their better stick to what they are at the deepest of them.
