Can you describe your evolution and / or your artistic process ?

The subjects of my paintings have always turned around everyday life, foibles of people and domestic dwellings.
I am very attracted to the melancholy , the ” malaise ” being empty inside , have in theory all the ingredients to be happy and yet it is impossible, something made dam. Like a tree that will be eaten by bacteria from the inside.
Inspiration is always a worry because it is not always there when I need it .
The body of my characters have evolved since my first exhibition in 1999.
They are also asymmetric and deformed it is because I lost 40 kg in 2 months in mid-teens which caused me a big problem of visual and body which unfortunately still exist identity.
I think the body is the mirror of our thoughts . It is the external reflection of our soul , the envelope weight accumulated each year, it is battered by life incidents and sponges all our joys and sufferings.
It is the main theme of my work. If I could I would make that body without any artifice around .
Well sure as any artist I questioned very often, almost every time I finish a painting.
Being continually dissatisfied advances but also very exhausting …
At some point my envis create is such that I feel that my blood boils and then once in front of the paper I am disappointed because I can never represent the true picture of bodies floating in my head …
